Explosion-proof Structure and Performance

The explosion-proof structure of HEX series products complies with the relevant provisions ofGB3836.1-2021″Explosive AtmospheresPartl:Equipment-General Requirements”and GB3836.2-2021″Explosive Atmospheres Part2 Equipment Protection by flameproof Enclosures ‘d'”,and adopts a whole machine explosion-proof structure.The explosion-proof shell composed of various explosion-proolcomponents ofthe product can withstand the explosion pressure generated by the explosive gas mixture inside the shell during anexplosion,and can prevent the explosion inside the shell from spreading to the surrounding explosive gas environment outside theshellln other words, when an explosion occurs inside the productit will not propapate to the outside ofthe shell and ignite the explosi-ve gas mixture outside the shell.

Explosion-proof grade

The explosion-proof rating of this product is: ExdIBT4 Where:Ex-explosion-proof marking; d-explosion-prooftype,indicating”flameproof”: -equipment category,indicating electrical equip.ment for explosive gasenvironments otherthan coal mines:B-explosion level,which determines the dimensions(width and gap)of the explosion-proof joint surfaces ofthe actuator!T4-temperature class,indicating the maximum surface temperature allowed for the actuator is 135°c.In Appendix B of GB3836,1-2021,detailed levels and temperature classes of combustible gases and vapors are listedUsers may refer to it if necessary.Soecial attention:The tvpe and group of explosive substances surrounding the location where the product is used must be consistentwith the explosion-proof medium allowed by the product,otherwise,the explosion-proof effect cannot be achieved.

Precautions for use

Pay attention to the prompts on the warning labels.t is strictly prohibited to open any cover while live in the presence offlammable
and explosive gases (i.e.,opening the explosion-proof chamber ofthe product).The explosion-proof glass is pat of the explosion-proof structure and should not be disassembled or impacted with hard objectsduring use.When any explosion-proof parts of the product are damaged,they should be replace dimmediately.Before qualified partsare installed,the product should not be operated electrically.
The product nameplate and warning labels must not be torn off or lost,and the text on them should remain clear.
