There are two main types. You can choose either quarter-turn rotary actuators or multi-turn actuators.
Yes, they can. Most of our models support remote control. You can easily connect them to systems like PLCs and DCSs.
If you use and maintain them properly, they will last for years. Many units even run for decades without any issues.
You need to look at a few basic things. First, check your valve’s torque and where it will operate. Then, choose your control method and voltage.
For control, our standard units accept 4–20mA or 2–10V DC inputs. For feedback, they send out a 4–20mA analog signal. You also get passive dry contacts for open, close, and fault alarms.
We put 4 micro-switches in each quarter-turn actuator as standard. Two switches stop the motor at 0° and 90° to cut the travel. The other two send open and close signals back to your PLC.
Yes, it does. If you use a DCS, you can add our optional communication cards. They support Modbus RTU (RS485) and Profibus DP.
